New features of Chronoscope World
Chronoscope World is a time machine to explore the history of the world, browsing maps from the 13th until the 20th century. The new features of update 2.10 (21-Jun-2021) will be presented briefly on this page.
Chronoscope World 2.10 provdies access to 2,461 old maps. That’s 290 new old maps compared to 2,171 maps in version 2.9.
The user interface is available in English and German. The map layer is adjusts to English, German, French, Spanish, Portugese, Russian or Arabic depending on the locale settings of the browser.
Some atlas sets are multi-segment map collections – but some segments might be lost. These missing maps are now empty spots on the table of maps to preserve the general layout.
Maps can be filtered by scale. Use the new vertical slider on the left edge of the screen to select the desired scale.
The Layout command has a green circle to indicate an active filter.
